1. Commitment to accessibility
Eyal Medical Equipment Ltd. (the "Company") attaches great importance to providing equal, respectful and accessible service to all its customers, including people with disabilities, and works to make the website eyalmed.com accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
2. Accessibility level
The website was built according to Israeli Standard SI 5568 (Part 1), which is based on the W3C WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA. The website supports the common browsers in their current versions (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) and use on computers, tablets and mobile phones.
3. Main accessibility features of the website
• Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Esc), including the category menu, the search window, product cards, the cart and forms.
• A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
• A clear focus indicator around the active element.
• Semantic structure: hierarchical headings, defined page regions and a defined page language.
• Alternative text for product images, and accessible labels (aria-label) for icon-only buttons.
• Forms with accessible labels and clear, written error messages.
• Responsive design that supports zooming up to 200% without loss of content.
• Respect for the operating system's "reduce motion" preference: animations and transitions are reduced, and the main carousel can be paused.
• The website contains no flashing content and does not play audio or video automatically.
• All website components (fonts, icons and scripts) are loaded from the Company's own servers, with no dependence on inaccessible third-party components.
4. Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible:
• In several design elements (white text on a mint background) the contrast ratio is lower than the standard requires. The information shown in these elements is also available in other ways on the page.
• Some catalog images have only generic alternative text (the product name).
We continue to improve the website's accessibility on an ongoing basis and will fix any issue brought to our attention as soon as possible.
